Artistic Inspirations - Pendleton's residency work draws from the rich tapestry of the Whitefish Bay lakeside community, the ever-changing moods of Lake Michigan, the distinctive architecture and environment of The Dome House itself, art historical references, and personal connections to loved ones and friends. These varied sources of inspiration have culminated in work that reflects both the artist's personal vision and his deep engagement with Door County's cultural and natural landscape.

This exhibition represents the culmination of Pendleton's intensive eight-week engagement with Door County's natural and cultural landscape. His residency work demonstrates the dynamic intersection of place, time, and artistic vision that defines the Dome House program.

The public is cordially invited to attend this celebration of contemporary art and the creative exchange fostered by the artist residency experience.
